Orlando has gained recognition not only for his mastery as a guitarist and composer but also as an educator. He is the winner of three international music scholarships and holds two Bachelor’s Degrees in Music and Jazz Performance graduating in both cases with the highest distinction.
As a clinician and educator, Orlando has given masterclasses at colleges, universities, and workshops in many countries including the United States, Venezuela, Ireland, Spain, Cuba, and the United Kingdom.
As an artist, Orlando has been invited to perform for important public figures such as Mr. President Michael D. Higgins, Wynton Marsalis, David Bisbal, Ruben Blades, Conor McGregor, among others. Some of his tours include the United States, United Kingdom, Israel, Spain, Ireland, Cuba, Venezuela, and Egypt. He has performed with worldwide acclaimed artists and orchestras such as Andreas Morricone, Gustavo Dudamel, the RTE Symphony Orchestra, the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, Simón Bolívar Big Band Jazz, and Ronan Guilfoyle to name just a few.
Orlando is a passionate educator and a true believer in the benefits that music education brings to individuals and societies. He offers students of all levels and ages, the opportunity to explore musical concepts ranging from fundamental to advanced concepts and techniques.
