Giulia

Teacher
  • Instruments: Classical Guitar - Piano

Giulia Piga, a talented classical guitarist and pianist hailing from Italy, embarked on her musical journey at the tender age of seven. In 2015, she was admitted to the renowned ‘Conservatorio di Musica Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’ in Cagliari, where she furthered her professional music education under the guidance of Professor Flaviano Dessalvi. With unwavering dedication, Giulia excelled in her studies and achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Music in 2019, graduating with the highest distinction.

Eager to expand her horizons, Giulia embraced the opportunity provided by the Erasmus program, traversing Europe and learning from esteemed guitar masters, including the revered Matteo Mela. It was during this period that Giulia not only honed her skills in performing various music styles such as flamenco, tango, and pizzica but also discovered her passion for education. Recognizing the importance of imparting knowledge to others, she embraced the role of an educator.

Currently, Giulia is pursuing a Masters Degree in Music Performance at TU Dublin Conservatoire, where she continues to refine her artistry and deepen her understanding of music. Her unwavering commitment to excellence, combined with her diverse experiences and passion for education, positions Giulia as a valuable and dynamic teacher, ready to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians.

RIANNA

Meet Rianna, an extraordinary piano teacher hailing from the enchanting County Galway. Steeped in a rich musical heritage, Rianna’s roots have infused her teaching style with a unique blend of tradition and innovation. Graduated from the esteemed National University of Galway with a bachelor’s degree in music, Rianna is poised to ignite a passion for music in the hearts of her students.

Rianna’s extraordinary talent on both voice and piano led her and her mother to claim the prestigious title of “Most Talented Family in Ireland” on TG4’s renowned show, ‘Feis and Blood.’ With years of teaching experience under her belt, Rianna is well-versed in piano, guitar, ukulele, and music theory. Her expertise extends beyond technical mastery as she has received training in the esteemed Kodály method, honing her skills under the tutelage of celebrated mentors from the Kodály Institute in the Franz Liszt Academy of Music.

Rianna’s true calling lies in inspiring and nurturing young minds.  As a teacher, Rianna finds the utmost fulfilment in fostering her students’ love for music and becoming an integral part of their remarkable musical journeys. Whatever genre or style resonates with her students, Rianna is thrilled to guide them towards their goals and aspirations, ensuring that each lesson is an engaging and transformative experience.

KYOKO

Kyoko brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for piano teaching to her role as an educator. Her own musical journey began in Tokyo, Japan at the age of 5, where she immersed herself in the world of piano. As she advanced in skill, Kyoko found joy in accompanying school choirs and assemblies, showcasing her talent and dedication.

With an impressive educational background, Kyoko holds a Piano Performance Diploma from London Trinity College, a distinction that reflects her exceptional mastery of the instrument. Additionally, she has achieved remarkable milestones by completing Grade 8 and Senior Certificate with the esteemed Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), further solidifying her expertise.

Kyoko’s teaching career spans over 9 years, during which she has had the privilege of instructing students of various ages, ranging from early years to teenagers and adults. She takes great pleasure in tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each student. Whether working towards graded exams or exploring the diverse and exciting world of different musical genres, Kyoko’s student-centered philosophy ensures that her curriculum is customized to suit individual musical interests and goals. With a firm understanding that every learner possesses distinct capabilities and learning styles, Kyoko fosters an inclusive and supportive environment, nurturing a lifelong love for music in her students.

Romina

Teacher
  • Instruments: Violin

Romina, a talented violinist hailing from Croatia, brings over fifteen years of teaching experience to her role as an educator. She obtained her Mus. M. degree in classical violin from the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb, graduating in 2006. Throughout her studies, Romina actively participated in masterclasses and seminars led by acclaimed professional violinists, enhancing her skills and knowledge.

With a diverse teaching background, Romina has taught at both primary and secondary music school levels catering to students of all ages. Romina’s commitment to music education extends beyond traditional teaching settings, as she has volunteered at “El Sistema Croatia.” In this role, she led the string section and taught violin, adhering to the philosophy, methodology, and principles of the renowned “El Sistema” program. Her dedication to her students is evident through their participation in national and international competitions, as well as her leadership and organization of the esteemed “Little School of Strings 2020” project, a masterclass for violin and violoncello.

Romina’s passion for music and education shines through her creativity and motivation. She consistently strives to provide the best possible guidance and support to her students, helping them unlock their full potential. With her expertise and unwavering commitment, Romina is poised to inspire and nurture the next generation of violinists, fostering a love for music and encouraging students to reach new heights in their musical journeys.

Rodrigo

Rodrigo Almonte is a versatile musician and experienced educator from Peru, specializing in guitar, piano, composition, and teaching. With over eight years of teaching experience, Rodrigo has cultivated a deep understanding of music and a passion for imparting his knowledge to others. From a young age, he immersed himself in diverse genres such as blues, Latin music, and jazz, shaping his musical foundation.

In 2013, Rodrigo was awarded a prestigious scholarship to study at the renowned Souza Lima Conservatory in Sao Paulo, Brazil. During his time there, he also pursued his passion for composition and arranging at EMESP, further honing his musical skills and expanding his artistic repertoire.

Rodrigo’s dedication to his craft led him to pursue a Master’s Degree in Jazz Performance from the prestigious Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, Holland. There, he had the privilege of studying with some of the finest musicians from the vibrant New York Jazz Scene.

Currently, Rodrigo is pursuing a Ph.D. at DCU, further expanding his knowledge and expertise in the field of music education. Alongside his academic pursuits, he has collaborated on recording projects in Peru, Brazil, and Ireland. 

Michael

Meet Michael, a multifaceted musician with a passion for guitar, sound engineering, composition, and education. Armed with a Masters in Music and Media Technologies, his expertise extends across various domains of the music industry.

Michael’s musical journey has taken him through diverse ensembles, ranging from classical guitar orchestras to rock bands and pit orchestras. As an educator, Michael’s vast experience spans teaching guitar, music production, and creative coding courses to students of all ages, from children to teenagers and adults. Beyond teaching, he also holds the esteemed position of Broadcast Officer for the Irish Composers’ Collective, further emphasising his commitment to the music community.

With Michael, students can expect a well-rounded and enriching learning experience. Michael’s dedication and passion will inspire students to reach their full potential. His dynamic background and involvement in the music industry make him an invaluable mentor, offering a blend of technical knowledge, artistic vision, and real-world insights.

Oscar

Oscar, a native of Ireland, is an accomplished violinist and singer with a solid foundation in musical theater and education. Currently in the final stages of earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at Trinity College Dublin, Oscar brings a wealth of experience in teaching students across various age groups and skill levels. He has actively participated in numerous music groups and theatrical productions, notably including celebrated shows like Guys & Dolls, Les Misérables, and Chicago.

Oscar’s passion for music and education has been the driving force behind his extensive involvement in teaching. With a diverse range of musical talents and expertise, he is well-equipped to guide students in their musical journey. His experiences in both classical violin and vocal performance, coupled with his theatrical background, enable him to provide a well-rounded and engaging learning experience for his students.

Combining his love for music, his dedication to education, and his experience in the performing arts, Oscar is eager to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians. With a focus on fostering creativity, technique, and a deep appreciation for music, he is committed to helping students discover and develop their own unique musical voices.

Anna Marija

Anna Marija is professional singer and a dedicated educator with over seventeen years of experience in teaching and performing. Her musical journey began at the age of 17 when she joined her first rock band, embarking on a thrilling European tour. Eager to explore her vocal potential, she soon delved into opera singing classes and secured a scholarship at the esteemed University of Arts in Osijek, Croatia. Recognised as one of the most promising students, Ana Marija graced stages across Italy, Hungary, Montenegro, and other countries, with a standout performance at Marco’s Square in Venice.

Ana Marija’s teaching career blossomed alongside her own performances, as she shared her expertise with both children and adults in various music schools in Osijek. Her commitment to her craft has been recognised through numerous victories in solo and vocal ensemble singing competitions. Furthermore, she has had the privilege of showcasing her talent in esteemed productions such as Nikola Subic Zrinjski, Nabucco, and The Magic Flute at the renowned Croatian National Theatre in Osijek.

As an educator, Ana Marija brings a wealth of real-world experience and an infectious passion for music to her teaching. Her multifaceted background, encompassing rock, opera, and symphonic metal, enables her to connect with students from diverse musical backgrounds and guide them towards their own artistic journeys.

 

Mihály

Meet Mihály, a highly accomplished Violinist, Musicologist, and dedicated Educator originaly from Budapest, Hungary. His passion for music and education led him to graduate from the renowned Franz Liszt Academy of Music, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Musicology in 2011. Mihály’s thirst for knowledge and commitment to his craft drove him to further his studies, acquiring a Master’s Degree in Violin Education.

With a teaching career spanning over seventeen years, Mihály has gained extensive experience instructing students in the esteemed syllabi of the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) and the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). Additionally, he has guided students in preparing for Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations. Mihály’s warm-hearted nature and amiable personality make him the perfect mentor for individuals of all ages, from young children to adults, fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

With Mihály as their guide, students can expect a comprehensive and enriching musical education. His deep understanding of pedagogy, coupled with his vast knowledge as a musicologist, enables him to provide a holistic approach to violin education. Mihály’s dedication, kindness, and ability to connect with students on a personal level ensure a harmonious and enjoyable learning experience for all.

Sadhbh

Sadhbh is a gifted and passionate classical Pianist and Flautist. Her musical journey commenced at the tender age of 6, embarking on a remarkable music education that led her to complete the piano grades with the prestigious Royal Irish Academy of Music. Recognised for her exceptional talent, Sadhbh was honoured with a Highly Commended award in piano duet at the esteemed Newpark Music Festival.

With over six years of teaching experience, Sadhbh has honed her skills in preparing students of all ages for their musical endeavours. Her teaching approach is characterised by patience, encouragement, and an unwavering commitment to making learning an enjoyable and engaging experience. Sadhbh constantly seeks innovative and creative ways to captivate her students, ensuring that their musical education is not only fruitful but also fun-filled. Her warm and personable nature makes her an ideal mentor, particularly for young children and beginners embarking on their musical journeys.

Enthusiastic and dedicated, Sadhbh Quinn is poised to inspire and nurture the musical talents within her students. Through her expertise, compassion, and vibrant personality, she is committed to fostering a love for music that will resonate with her students for a lifetime.

Eduardo

Introducing Eduardo, a virtuoso Spanish guitarist, composer, and dedicated educator, whose musical prowess spans across genres. With over six years of teaching experience, Eduardo’s versatility shines through as he effortlessly navigates the realms of jazz, blues, metal, rock, and pop.

Eduardo’s musical journey began with captivating performances alongside blues and R&B ensembles. Fuelling his passion, he delved into exhilarating rock and metal projects, which led him to embark on extensive tours throughout Spain, sharing stages with internationally acclaimed bands like Lordi and Refuge.

Seeking new horizons, Eduardo ventured to Ireland to pursue his dreams in the realm of jazz music. Currently, he is immersed in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Jazz and Contemporary Music at DCU, honing his craft under the tutelage of some of Ireland’s most esteemed musicians.

In his teaching approach, Eduardo fosters an environment of inspiration. He encourages his students to connect with the tunes that ignite their passion, infusing foundational concepts and music theory into practical applications. By keeping the student engaged and motivated, Eduardo ensures a dynamic learning experience that empowers aspiring musicians to excel on their musical journeys.
