Orlando is the founder of ‘Moved by Music’. He is a Guitarist, Composer and Educator with many years of experience teaching in some of the most prestigious private schools and music schools in Ireland and Latin America.
Orlando is the winner of three international music scholarships. He also holds two Bachelor Degrees in Music and Jazz Performance graduating in both cases with the highest distinction.
Orlando has played and toured with internationally acclaimed musicians such as Ronan Guilfoyle (Ireland), Phil Ware (UK), Conor Guilfoyle (Ireland), Marie Séférian (DEU), Andreas Morricone (Italy), Gustavo Dudamel (Venezuela), David Pavón (Puerto Rico), the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, among many others. Orlando has also been invited to perform for important public figures such as Mr President Michael D. Higgins (Ireland), Conor McGregor the jazz trumpet player Wynton Marsalis, David Bisbal, the singer and composer Ruben Blades among others.
As a bandleader and sideman, some of Orlando’s tours include the United the States, United Kingdom, Middle East, Spain, Ireland, Cuba and Venezuela. He has performed in acclaimed international music festivals and venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, The National Concert Hall, Cork Jazz Festival, the Electric Picnic, London Arab Festival among many others.
Caterina is a professional pianist, composer and educator with a Master Degree in Film Scoring and Composition. She has worked as a composer for several short films and visual media projects from Colombian, Costa Rican, Spanish and Chinese directors; she has also participated in various filmmaking marathons.
Caterina has wide experience lecturing and tutoring, piano, music theory and composition. She also tutored young piano students and prepared candidates for admission exams to music not only in Ireland but also in Latin America
Originally from Greece, Charalampos (Charis) is a Pianist, Educator, Composer and Orchestral Conductor with a BA in Music from the Ionian University – Faculty of Music & Audiovisual Arts of Corfu Island.
Charis has focused his musical career in Orchestral Performance and Music Pedagogy delivering lessons in Piano, Clarinet and Music Theory to children and adults of all ages and level.
Charis is currently attending a Master Degree in Music Performance (Orchestral Conducting) at TU Dublin University – Conservatory of Music and Drama of Dublin, Ireland.
Rodrigo Almonte is a Peruvian Guitarist, Composer and Educator with more than 8 years of teaching experience. He started his musical studies from an early age immersing himself in blues, Latin music and jazz. In 2013 he won a scholarship to study at Souza Lima Conservatory in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the same time, he studied Composition and Arranging at EMESP in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2015 he went back to Peru to focus on studying the basis of Afro Peruvian and Andean Peruvian Rhythms with masters like Andres Prado and Hugo Alcazar.
Almonte was awarded a scholarship to finish his studies in the prestigious Newpark Music Centre in Dublin, Ireland. Currently, Almonte is finishing a Master Degree in Jazz Performance at Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, Holland where he receives lessons from some of the finest musicians from the New York Jazz Scene.
Pedro is a professional Guitarist, Pianist and Music Teacher with more than ten years of experience as an educator and performer. Pedro holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music from Dublin City University in Ireland (DCU).
Born and bred in Sāo Paulo, Brazil, Pedro Ponciano started playing guitar in his early teens. By the age of 18, he had fully committed himself to a career in music and embarked on 3 years of guitar studies at EM&T; a music school directed by Mozart Mello and Wander Taffo, where Pedro acquired his first music diploma. From 2010 to 2012, Pedro studied piano at the prestigious Souza Lima Conservatory, followed by a 2-year music teaching course at FPA music college.
Pedro is a versatile musician and educator who strives to provide his students with a natural learning experience.
Born in Croatia, Romina is a professional violinist with more than 13 years of teaching experience. She graduated in 2006 at Academy of Music, University of Zagreb and holds Mus. M. degree in classical violin. During her studies, she attended a lot of masterclasses and seminars with acclaimed professional violinists.
Romina has experience teaching at both, the primary and secondary music school levels, teaching in private music school and holding private lessons with students of all ages. For several years she has volunteered at the “SO DO – El Sistema Croatia” where she was leading string section and teaching violin based on the philosophy, methodology and principles of “El Sistema”. During her teaching career, she participated with students in many national and international competition and she was also the leader and organiser of the project “Little School of Strings 2020”, masterclass for violin and violoncello.
Romina is a creative and motivated musician and educator who always strive to do best for her students and helping them reach their potential.
