Giulia Piga is a classical guitarist and pianist originally from Italy. She began playing music at the age of seven. Later in 2015, she entered the ‘Conservatorio di Musica Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’ of Cagliari, continuing her professional music studies with Professor Flaviano Dessalvi. In 2019, Giulia obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, graduating with the highest distinction. As part of the Erasmus program, Giulia had the opportunity to travel across Europe learning from some of the master guitarists of Europe, including master Matteo Mela. While in Spain, Giulia studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica Manuel Castillo in Seville.
During her travelling period, Giulia gained experience not only performing other music styles such as flamenco, tango and pizzica, but also as an educator. Currently, Giulia is pursuing a Masters Degree in Music Performance at TU Dublin Conservatoire.
Originally from Greece, Charalampos (Charis) is a Pianist, Musicologist, Composer and Orchestral Conductor with a BA in Music from the Ionian University – Faculty of Music & Audiovisual Arts of Corfu Island. Charis has collaborated with many orchestras from Greece and other parts of Europe. He has specialised in Orchestral Performance and Music Pedagogy. Charis has wide experience teaching children and adults, delivering lessons in Piano, Clarinet and Music Theory.
Charis is currently attending a Master Degree in Music Performance (Orchestral Conducting) at TU Dublin University – Conservatory of Music and Drama of Dublin, Ireland.
Born in Croatia, Romina is a professional violinist with more than 13 years of teaching experience.
She graduated in 2006 at Academy of Music, University of Zagreb and holds a Music degree in classical violin. During her studies, she attended a lot of masterclasses and seminars with acclaimed professional violinists.
Romina has experience teaching at both primary and secondary music school levels, teaching in private music school and holding private lessons with students of all ages. For several years she has volunteered at the “SO DO – El Sistema Croatia” where she was leading string section and teaching violin based on the philosophy, methodology and principles of “El Sistema”. During her teaching career, she participated with students in many national and international competition and she was also the leader and organiser of the project “Little School of Strings 2020”, masterclass for violin and violoncello.
Romina is a creative and motivated musician and educator who always strives to do her best for her students and help them reach their potential.
Rodrigo Almonte is a Peruvian Guitarist, Pianist, Composer and Educator with more than 8 years of teaching experience. He started his musical studies from an early age immersing himself in blues, Latin music and jazz.
In 2013 he won a scholarship to study at Souza Lima Conservatory in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the same time, he studied Composition and Arranging at EMESP in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In 2015 he went back to Peru to focus on studying the basis of Afro Peruvian and Andean Peruvian Rhythms with masters like Andres Prado and Hugo Alcazar. Rodrigo holds a Master Degree in Jazz Performance from Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, Holland where he studied with some of the finest musicians from the New York Jazz Scene. Rodrigo has recorded with various projects in Peru, Brazil and Ireland and aims to record his debut album soon.
Michael is a guitarist, sound engineer, composer and educator with a Masters in Music and Media Technologies.
He has performed in ensembles ranging from classical guitar orchestras to rock bands to pit orchestras. He has composed for a number of spatial music and VR projects, and has participated in several game jams as a composer/sound designer. As a teacher, he has wide experience teaching guitar, music production and creative coding courses to children, teenagers and adults. When he is not teaching, Michael works as the Broadcast Officer for the Irish Composers’ Collective.
Originally from Ireland, Oscar is a professional Violinist and Singer with a strong background in Musical Theater and education. Currently completing a Bachelor Degree in Music Education at Trinity College Dublin, Oscar has wide experience teaching students of all ages and stages. He has been part of many music groups and musicals including Guys & Dolls, Les Mis & Chicago to name a few.
Ana Marija Dundovic is a professional singer with more than 15 years of teaching and performing experience. She joined her first rock band at the age of 17 and toured across Europe. She began attending opera singing classes shortly after and received a scholarship at the University of Arts in Osijek, Croatia. Being one of the most promising students, she performed in Italy, Hungary, Montenegro and other countries, with the
singing highlight at the Marco’s Square in Venice in front of thousands of people.
Ana had won several singing competitions, both as a soloist and a part of the vocal ensemble. She has performed in Croatian National Theatre in Osijek in the productions of Nikola Subic Zrinjski, Nabucco and The Magic Flute. Ana’s professional training and versatility, make her the perfect teacher for children and adults interested in classical singing (Opera) as well as rock, pop and Jazz.
Mihály is a professional Violinist, Musicologist, and passionate Educator originally from Budapest, Hungary. He graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Musicology (2011) and later a Master’s Degree in Violin Education.
With more than fifteen years of experience as an educator, Mihaly also possesses wide experience teaching the RIAMs’ (Royal Irish Academy of Music) and ABRSMs’(Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music) syllabus, as well as preparing students for the Junior and Leaving Certificate. Mihály’s kindness and lovely personality make him the perfect teacher for young children and adults alike.
Sadhbh is a young prodigy Pianist and Flautist (classical & trad) She began her music education at the age of 6 completing the piano grades with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Sadhbh was also awarded Highly Commended in piano duet in the Newpark Music Festival.
Sadhbh has over five years of teaching experience preparing students of all ages. She is both patient and encouraging and is always looking for new and creative ways to make learning fun and engaging for the students. These attributes, combined with her lovely personality, make Sadhbh the perfect teacher for young children and beginners.
Ryan is a pianist from Malaysia. After graduating from high school at the age of 17, Ryan
decided to further his studies in Ireland. Ryan graduated with first class honours from the UCD School of Music. He is also taking courses under Patricia Kavanagh at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
Ryan has been constantly performing as both pianist and accompanist for recitals. He was commended in the RIAM PianoFest 2021. He was three-times awarded distinction in the ABRSM Graded exam and was invited to perform in the ABRSM high-scorers concert. Ryan aims to help his students develop proper playing techniques. In addition, he is also always happy to teach a variety of genres and focus on pop songs, improvisation, and harmony as he understands each student has their own goals and musical interests. Encouraging students to enjoy music through the process of learning is his top priority.
